About Us
CrossReach has recently restructured the Children and Families Service to support the growth in our community
based services. Our vision of "Include me in" is delivered through;
• Child Centred services that deal with each child as a whole child and with all his or her relationships and
involvement with his or her community
• Family Centred services that support parents in their role - rather than taking over their role.
Our services are delivered throughout Scotland, currently from the Ballikinrain campus in Stirlingshire, the
Geilsland campus in North Ayrshire and the Mallard in Glasgow. The new CrossReach "Include me in" Children's
Services build on existing skills and motivations across current children services to ;
• Improve the well being of children
• Support families within their communities
• Locate children and their families firmly within a network of local supports
• Improve the skill base and employability of those with whom we have contact
They include community supports which maintain children in their families and local schools, providing class
room support when required. We provide support to parents and carers in their own homes helping them in
their role as parents and with their own individual challenges. We provide respite and crisis care for children
with learning and physical disabilities. Our school service provides a continuum of education provision from
8 to 18 and beyond including vocational training on a residential and day student basis leading to Social
Enterprise opportunities where students can move to the world of work with the level of support they require.
